Taste of Brews is ecstatic to announce it’s partnership with Ocean Education Outreach!!!
This up and coming non-profit corporation is on a powerful mission to promote hands on education about “the wonder of our oceans and watersheds and emphasize the importance of preserving them.” Ocean Education Outreach pursue’s this mission by funding, organizing and promoting educational programs that teach about the advancement of ocean and watershed education aimed towards under served children, schools, and communities.
Ocean Education Outreach has many different programs that they support and promote ocean education through, such as: Wetlands Programs, Hands On Research Vessel Programs, Channel Islands Programs, Day Programs, and Overnight Programs.
In addition to these educational programs, they have also teamed up with three wonderful partners to help them promote their mission, and take their educational programs to the next level.
Their first partner is The Long Beach Marine Institute. For over 20 years they have offered wonderful, hands on educational programs aboard their vessel, the Challenger. The many years of experience give an excellent hand to Ocean Education Outreach’s day programs in Catalina and Long Beach. The Catalina Experience is their second partner. Located at White Landing on Catalina Island, they have an educational facility and, just like Ocean Education Outreach, they are also highly committed to the education of our oceans and environment. Lastly, they are partnered with Five Star Transportation where, for over 30 years, Jack Anderson has been in the transportation business.
Ocean Education Outreach is on a mission to provide hands on education about our magnificent oceans and waterways, and especially spread the importance of their conservation. This is a powerful message that may have a lasting impression on all that it reaches.
Whether you love the whales, enjoy waking up early to go surfing, or just like that beautiful sunset drive down the coast, don’t miss out on a chance to support this amazing non-profit at our Twilight Tasting event in March!
